I'm not certain this is a new way of looking at the Holocaust? Or, not entirely, at least. Hitler wanted "lebensraum" or living space for the Aryan race, so that was part of the reason he went to conquer the USSR.

Also, didn't Hitler's views on the Jews and his intent for them start earlier than they started taking over these other countries? So, I'm not sure about the second half of that...
